In the words of Einstein, ‘If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.’ While it’s easy to wax eloquent about a subject without saying anything of substance, it’s a challenge to communicate effectively in just a few words.
TL;DR – Here are some social media ads where I kept the copy short and sweet:
As promised, here are a couple of pictures of our booth from this year’s International Franchise Association Convention. I wish I could’ve attended, but I’m glad some of my words made it there in my place. The booth’s design did most of the heavy lifting, but I was glad to contribute some copy to help our team communicate with the convention’s attendees. I also wrote copy for the pre- and post-event landing pages, the latter of which you can visit here.
I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Wes Eisold of Cold Cave.
Check out the interview here.
This was my most challenging interview to date, but I’m proud of how it turned out. John Maus is one of my favorite musicians, and speaking with him was an incredible opportunity. Bonus points if you catch the 1984 reference.
Here’s an interview/album review I conducted with Marc Dwyer, the mastermind behind Australian synth-pop project Buzz Kull. What initially began as a review of his latest album quickly evolved into a hybrid piece after I reached out to Marc with some questions about the story behind the music.
This is a one-page ad used to highlight the benefits of paid search advertising. The ad was used at an annual convention hosted by Budget Blinds in Las Vegas. As a print piece, this ad serves to reiterate and reinforce the points made at the convention and accordingly requires a great deal of information.
Here’s a landing page promoting Web.com for Enterprise’s booth at this year’s International Franchise Association Convention in Las Vegas. I also wrote copy for the booth itself, as well as the ads and emails used to engage prospects before and after the convention.
I’ll upload images of the booth soon, but here’s a preview of coming attractions:
